The London Providers group is a forum where all 27 London Initial Teacher Education providers meet and discuss shared issues. By joining together we can offer a better service to schools, mentors, students and pupils. In 2002 we agreed to start a process of greater collaboration and established three working parties:
London Providers working parties:
- Assessment - Primary & Secondary
- Mentor Development
- Partnership
In 2005 we established a further working party to report on Secondary Professional Studies. Materials from all these groups are in the Resources section.
In 2006 a Primary Harmonisation Group met through the year and wrote a set of web-based resources for supporting Primary Professional Studies. The result of their work can be seen here.
