The London Providers
group is a forum where all 27 London Initial Teacher
Education providers meet and discuss shared issues. By
joining together we can offer a better service to schools,
mentors, students and pupils. In 2002 we agreed to start a
process of greater collaboration. In 2005 we established a
further working party to report on Secondary Professional Studies.
Materials from all these groups are in the Resources section.
In 2006 a Primary Harmonisation Group met through
the year and wrote a set of web-based resources for
supporting Primary Professional Studies. The result of
their work can be seen here.
In 2007 we merged two of the groups to become the London
Providers Harmonisation and Development Group (LPHDG).
